2026 Municipal Elections Candidate Survey
The Kingston District Labour Council (KDLC) developed a candidate survey to help educate and inform voters about candidates’ positions on issues that matter to workers, families, and our communities.
The questions focus on good jobs, strong public services, affordable housing, safe and equitable workplaces, responsible use of public resources, and other priorities important to the labour movement.
Candidates were asked to provide a clear Yes or No response, along with an opportunity to explain their position. The responses below are presented as submitted and are intended to help voters make informed decisions about the candidates seeking to represent their communities.
Note: Candidate responses are published as submitted to the Kingston District Labour Council. The KDLC has not edited or altered candidates’ responses. Candidates were emailed with this opportunity approximately 1 month prior to the 2026 Municipal Election. A candidates’ decision not to respond is also noted where applicable.
